Energy is the key ingredient for the modern economy, but the world is too heavily dependent on limited resources based on fossil fuels.  In this session we will discuss renewable and sustainable energy development in global context, followed by current practices in both industrialized and developing economies. The prospects and problems of the various energy resources will also be highlighted.
